It is strange how grand it looks on the frame. And it was indeed so in reality. As I reflect on the day 6 months away from it (aided by the photos of course)I realise that it was a grandeur coloured by nostalgia. It was not the grandeur of the cricket league variety. It was more like maggie sauce — different.
One more comment though before I close this posting. It took me awhile to realise that I was a poster not because of the photo but because I contribute to the site!
I wish I could attend this occasion.
Great endeavor and wish all of you (especially the hard-working organizers) a great success to bring the alumni across the world in touch.
However, I would really appreciate if you please publish a sort of calendar of occasions you hold throughout a year, so that we can plan the Kolkata visit accordingly.
Anyway, again thanks a lot for sharing the photos of such a great event.

So this post has got some interresting comments. Firstly , I have added ‘contributor’ along with more common Blog world term ‘poster’. Thanks Suparnada for the hint. You always say I speak more terminology than I should 🙁
Secondly Kaushik’s suggestion for announcing an event calender is very constructive. We discussed it in last AGM too. I think its high time that we should publish a minimalist event calender covering at least programs like Reunion, Bijoya Sammilani etc. I hope the new committee, which will start functioning after the comming AGM, on 25th May will take care of that.
Nice photos of reunion. Arabindababu has not changed much. Indranil, who I think was a junior to me, was recognizable easily. Supranada was looking great. Sadly I was not there. I hope I will be there next time.
