Become Our Member
We have been discussing about a member raising drive in our last two meetings of the governing body. The non online effort is on. We are contacting to our fellow alumnus, spread all over the globe through all possible means. The chain is in action with a slow pace. This is our first attempt to reproduce the rules and regulations governig membership of BNNVAA on the web. Please write back to me in case you need any clarification.

Two types of Member

  • Member : Members, for the purpose of this association would consist of those ex-students who have passed at least one of the school leaving examinations, i.e., Madhyamik Pariksha, Uchya Madhyamik Pariksha or Higher Secondary Examination from the Alma Mater, for which the relevant document(s) should be produced.
  • Associate Members : Associate Members, could be those ex-students who have studied one or more continuous academic year(s) at the Alma Mater. Applicants for Associate Membership should produce one of the following documents in original as proof of studentship:
    1. Progress report of annual examination(s).
    2. Copy of School fee deposition documents.
    3. Transfer Certificate.
    4. Duly filled in proforma in which at least three members (as defined above) of relevant academic year should certify and endorse the name of the applicant for associate membership.

Rights and Obligations of Members

  • Any member of the association has the right to elect and to be elected in any election of the society.
  • To submit suggestion for discussion to the Governing Body.
  • To inspect the accounts of the association on appointment with the Secretary.
  • To pay his subscription within the prescribed time.
  • Defaulting members should not be allowed to take part or vote in a meeting.
  • Members shall bag one vote each.

Cessation of Membership

  • Any member shall cease to be a member on his resignation from membership by a letter addressed to the Secretary.
  • On his / her conviction of any offence in connection with the formation, promotion, management or conduct of affairs of a society or a body corporated or any offence involving moral turpitude or of any criminal offence involving life and property.

Fees

  • Residents of India : One time registration fee of Rs 10/- (Rupees ten only) and an anual subscription of Rs 50/- ( Rupees fifty only ) to be paid within each accounting year , i.e., April to March [vide amendment of our constitution made in second annual general meeting].
  • Non resident Indians: One time registration fee of $10 (USD ten only) and an anual subscription of $50 ( USD fifty only ) to be paid within each accounting year , i.e., April to March.
