Baranagar Narendranath Vidyamandir Alumni Association

The first reunion of the Baranagar Narendranath Alumni Association will be held on 6th August 2006 3.30 P.M. onwards at “Yamuna Bhawan” , Boon Hooghly (Near BKC College). The event will be marked with nostalgic sharing, cultural program and dinner. You are cordially invited to attend the program with your spouse.

Following our principle of non wastage of fund and better organising the program, we have decided to make the participation contributory. A participation fee of Rs 100/- per unit (member and his spouse) have been fixed. You are requested to contact Binoy Chakrobarti or Dibakar Paul for collection of invitation cards against participation fee. The Governing body request your co-operation to make the program a great success. You are requested to inform fellow batchmates who have not yet become our member.

The reunion will also decide on holding of the Annual General Meeting. We are planning to upload a member directory here in our site. Updation of membership status will help us in doing so. Our website is interactive. Please give your feedback here in the site itself just below this.

The association will publish a souvenir “Swaranika” during this occassion. You can send short writings for publication in it. The work should reach me by 5th July 2006 at contact@bnnvalumni.org. We need advertisements. The contract form for accepting advertisement can be downloaded from here. Please use your contacts to get some advertisement for Swaranika.

The association will host this years’ Bijoya Sammilani on 30th Octobor, Sunday. The venue has been set up at Sananda(behind Sinthi More Bata). Sananda is the place where we had our first meeting during our pre registration days. The nostalgia is strong. Let us join together to celebrate. The program is hundred percent unstructutered excepting one part, the dinner. We are planning to have a contributory dinner on that day. Pradeep Neogi, a 1985 batch passout, is responsible for organising the party. Please confirm your attendance by giving him a message in his mobile : 9331026321 stating your name and contact number. We shall start at 5.0 P.M sharp.

I have already told you that we will be unstructured on that day. So be ready with your extra curricular ( yeh ! I’m talking of those skills we used to practise back in our school days ). Surajitda is planning to put you on the stage !
